Last October 23, our USS Silverstein DE534 reunion group held our banquet on your Spirit of Carolina harbor cruise ship. We apologize for being so late in expressing our great pleasure all of our attendees had enjoying the cruise, the delicious meals, the great music and professional and friendly staff during the banquet.
We celebrated Capt. Gould's 89th birthday and he was so moved by the beautiful cake and the setting of the Spirit of Carolina which was perfect for the whole event. This was the first time our group has had their banquet somewhere other than a hotel banquet room and everyone was overjoyed with the choice.
Thank you so much for making the final day of our 2008 reunion in Charleston so memorable.

I am writing to commend you on an incredible staff and operations at SpiritLine Cruises.
Our experience with the dinner cruise that we book for our annual conference, February 13th was by far the highlight of our entire event.
To begin with, every contact that I had with Mary Elizabeth was great. I found her to be friendly, helpful, knowledgable yet very professional at the same time. She helped me with our ever changing layout, food choices and costs. I don't know how we could have pulled this off without her help.
We arrived in Charleston on February 11th and waited for one of your ships to return to port and asked to see the one we would be occupying on the 13th. Although above and beyond the scheduled activites, we were given a grand tour. I believe the captain's name was Jim, though I am sorry I didn't write it down. He was great and allayed many of our concerns and offered helpful suggestions.
Finally, on the afternoon of our event, it rained like crazy. I was panicking as all 125 of us were planning to walk from the Charleston Harbor to your dock. Again Mary Elizabeth saved the day and arranged for buses at the last minute. Though the weather kept us from a full tour of the Harbor, we had a great cruise and the accompanying lightening show. No one felt that we missed a thing.
And finally, the food was out of this world. My boss (previously in the restaurant business) said it was a 5 star meal. Our service during the meal was first rate but it was the food that everyone was raving about. I can still taste the Shrimp and Grits and am craving more.
Thanks to all your staff, we were heroes in the eyes of our members and I am confident that yours will be the bar against which all other events will be measured.
I expect to bring our conference back to Charleston in 2009 and look forward to a repeat of this year's cruise.

I am writing to let you know that on July 28, 2007, Baker Motor Company had an incredible time on the Spirit of Charleston! You really have a fabulous crew at SpiritLine Cruises! I want to sing the praises of Cruise Director Laura Fuentes and her crew on the Spirit of Charleston. The food was perfect, the drinks were cold, and everyone that attended the soiree enjoyed themselves immensely!

Our guests were blown away by how fabulous and unique the event was. Everyone loved everything! The food and drinks were excellent! Your personnel did a wonderful job. They were welcoming and efficient. Every detail was handled perfectly and professionally from the managing of the gift bags to the timing of the departure and return to the flowers on the tables to the beautiful white lights on the poles to …everything! You even managed to arrange for the most gorgeous night! YOU CONTROL THE EATHER!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you – what a wonderful evening we all enjoyed last night on your new boat! That boat is just fantastic and the menu was delicious. Of course, you know me, I spent most of my time talking with everyone and only sampled some of the food towards the end and it was excellent. The shrimp, the oysters, the crab, I could go on and on…it was all so delicious I think you should throw a party like that every Wednesday night!... I can’t wait to tell everyone about it! I just wanted to write a note to tell you how much Gary and I had everyone of our party (all 50 of them) enjoyed the dinner cruise May 18. We got so many compliments. The food was superb, the band was great, the tall ships just icing on the cake. Thanks again for creating a memorable evening. I will highly recommend this cruise to everyone I know!
