An Americana recording artist and singer/songwriter, Shelly brings an eclectic repertoire and engaging stage presence to every performance. From intimate coffee shops to festival crowds of +10,000, Shelly has performed in the same line up as Kitty Wells, Mel Tillis, John Anderson, Mickey Gilley, Johnnie Allan and Joel Sonnier. Most recently she has shared a stage with Loretta Lynn, Randall Bramblett, Hooray for the Riff Raff, Kim Simmonds, Savoy Brown, Jim Kweskin, Geoff Muldaur and John Primer. Wayne has toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada both as a member of the popular Midwest band Lynx and as backing drummer Rich Mauro. After settling in Charleston he quickly became a regular on the local club circuit as well as providing guitar work in theater productions including “Low Country Legends”, “Rock & Roll Heaven”, and “Soul Of The Sixties”. 2000 – 2012 found him playing corporate events throughout the Southeast and playing a regular jazz night at the popular Charleston restaurant High Cotton. He is currently studying classical guitar with Clelia Reardon and continues to perform regionally both as a solo artist and backing some of the area’s finest singers.

Dori Chitayat performs as a solo artist as well as in bands or ensembles in a variety of genres and instruments. Kelly Sanchez is a dynamic singer/instrumentalist specializing in soul music, covering great artists like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, Amy Winehouse, and Alicia Keys, to name just a few. As a versatile musician playing both keys and guitar, she is able to entertain crowds as a soloist or with a group. A transplant from Detroit, Kelly has a very wide range of rock, soul, gospel, and jazz influences. Ask her for a song by your favorite artist, and she is likely to make it happen.
Vince Rivers (a native of Charleston, SC) is a singer/guitarist who performs acoustic, soulful renditions of modern music. Imagine the music of John Legend and Jack Johnson sung in the soulful style of Bill Withers or Al Green. Add hints of jazz, blues and reggae and you’ll hear an honest and pure approach to music that creates an intimate and engaging experience. His vocal style can be described as warm, smooth, clean, with a guitar style that perfectly complements his voice. His musical arrangements make classics sound new. His repertoire crosses genres that fuse modern, popular music with timeless, soulful music. He has the ability to bring energy to even a low-volume, intimate environment, while engaging his audience regardless of their age or musical taste.
Ted McKee was born in Atlanta to an Army Officer so grew up traveling the world. He comes from a long line of musicians and started at 15 playing guitar with his brother in a rock band in Ft, Smith, Arkansas. He has been living in the Lowcountry since the late 70’s and played on the road with John Brannen, Jack Williams, and other well known musicians. Whether he’s on guitar, piano, solo or with the band, there is no question, Ted is one of Charleston’s premier entertainers.
Travis Allison is an award winning songwriter, vocalist, pianist and guitarist from Charleston, SC. He is a music scholarship graduate of the University of Richmond where he was awarded the Roy Jesson Award in music. He also attended the SC Governor’s School for the Arts and the Fine Arts Center of Greenville, SC. Travis has composed and produced music for Southwest Air and Grey Seal Productions and his songs have been featured on MTV, Nickelodeon and BET among other productions. He also cut his teeth performing on Walt Disney World’s former Premier Cruise Line. He has performed his original music in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, D.C. and points in between. He recently opened for fellow piano man Bruce Hornsby.
Ward Buckheister aka Ward B has been touring the U.S. for the last decade with Sol Driven Train, a band he co-created with his brother and their 5 best friends in 2000. Exciting live shows with an ever-changing set list of harmony & horn-filled original music have been his passion for 16 years. This summer he is excited to be able to perform solo, bringing guitar loops, live drumming and the trombone together for a fun one-man-band-style show. Facebook
Longtime Charleston songwriter and singer/guitarist Keith Bruce is known as a solo acoustic performer and ace lead guitar sit-in with various bar bands. He’s a strong studio cat as well. Bruce recently independently released an eight-song album of funky originals and acoustic ballads titled Monkey Trap.
Jay Miley performs music with a level of heart and soul that is timeless. His energy onstage is contagious and makes for great family oriented entertainment at any event. His ability to get a big sound from real instruments (like a full drum set or a nice acoustic guitar) constantly keeps his projects in the news. His work in the western swing group Swing Soup has gotten him nominated for several awards and they received airplay on several radio stations. No fancy footwork or laser light shows, just music strait from the heart and played with a truckload of soul.
